Rihanna has had to reinvent herself once again - this time as a doting mother to her two young sons. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the normally introspective artist opened up about the learning process of raising children alongside boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Their toddler sons RZA and Riot certainly keep the household lively with an upbeat pace.
Rihanna reflected on the love she has for her boys: "I am just looking at them and living through them and I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world and guide them as best as I can.” While the boys bring high-energy improvisations, their mother relishes being able to compose this new chapter.
She sees motherhood as an opportunity to discover fresh harmonies through her sons' eyes each day. Rihanna admires their curiosity and boundaries they teach each other as they learn the rhythms of the world.

Rihanna also congratulated Rocky on his prestigious role as the 2025 Met Gala co-chair alongside industry luminaries. She praised the celebration's theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” for bringing overlooked black fashion histories to the forefront. As a regular performer at the gala, Rihanna holds the event in high regard. "This is probably one of my favorite themes of all of them," she commented.
